OUR STORY

The Mudworks is a ceramics studio in the heart of Bohemia in St Leonards, owned and run by us, Chantelle Duncan and Isabella Campi.

 

We met serendipitously at a craft market in December 2020.  After hitting it off immediately, we realised that we had almost identical ideas for a new pottery studio. We took the leap and decided to pursue our dream together. Within a month, we had signed a lease on an old garage unit in Harold Mews and transformed the space into a cosy, creative studio, The Mudworks.

Two years on, our humble garage was bursting at the seams with 4 pottery classes per week
and 15 studio members.  After much searching, in April 2023 we moved to our large, bright studio at
138 London Road where we have expanded to welcome more students and studio members.
