COURSES

Over five years ago, we developed our bespoke pottery classes with a considered and structured approach.  We designed it to encompass a broad spectrum of techniques and processes to ensure a confident, well-rounded understanding of working with clay.  

 

Here is a breakdown of what we cover with new students:​

Week 1:  Pinch pots and coiling 

Week 2:  Slab work and hand building 

Week 3:  Throwing on the wheel! 

Week 4:  Turning/Trimming on the wheel 

Week 5:  Finishing off pieces and an introduction to glazing 

Week 6:  Glazing

We also encourage ongoing and intermediate students with prior clay experience to arrive with ideas they’re excited to explore. We love nurturing and facilitating individual concepts, projects and creative ambitions.
